With a wide array of pink, white and purple flower crops, The Cotswolds Confetti Fields are truly one of the best flower fields in the UK, and the short opening period gives this flower field an element of exclusivity if you are one of the lucky ones to grab a ticket.

What are the Cotswolds Confetti Fields?
So, you may have taken part in throwing confetti at a wedding; a tradition to bring luck to newlyweds, but you may not have realised you can actually visit the confetti flower fields where the real confetti is harvested.
Forget paper confetti, which can be very damaging to the environment, real flower petal confetti not only makes for a beautiful touch to a wedding but for a small period of time you can see the confetti fields yourself and learn about the harvesting process.
Real Flower Petal Confetti Company Flower Field in Pershore
The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company came about on a late Spring afternoon in 1997, after Charles Hudson witnessed the eyesore of wet paper confetti discarded and strewn over the gate of the local village church.
Determined to find a solution to the environmental impact of confetti and keep the wedding tradition alive, following the ban on using confetti in many churches, Charles experimented with different flowers to create biodegradable confetti on the Wyke Manor Estate.
The rest, as they say, is history! The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company now provides real flower confetti for weddings worldwide.
Throwing confetti is such a wonderfully quintessential wedding pastime, but is often lost in a moment in time, that is until the wedding photos bring to life the joy and jubilation of the celebrations in that moment. Before visiting the colourful Cotswold Confetti Fields in Wick, it hadn’t really occurred to me how lovely it is to have real flower confetti for a wedding (as opposed to paper confetti) or that you can visit real flower confetti fields to experience the joy of being amongst the flowers before they are harvested for those special ceremonies.
But for 10 days a year, you can do just that by visiting The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company’s flower field in Pershore.
When is the best time to visit the Cotswold Confetti Fields in Wick?
If like me, you’re forever admiring pictures of flower fields on Instagram, you won’t want to miss the chance to admire the beautiful white, blue and pink flower fields at The Real Flower Confetti Fields.
Easily one of the most beautiful flower fields in the UK, surely the most sought-after to visit; tickets for the confetti fields in the Cotswolds sell as quickly as throwing confetti in the air. The Real Flower Confetti Fields open for only around 10 days a year and with the rise in popularity of confetti fields on Instagram it can be a challenge to secure a visit.

I’d learned my lesson from previous years and jumped straight online to buy confetti field tickets before they sold out.
Tickets go on sale on the 20th of June 2024, and once available you can purchase them on the link below:
The benefit of the confetti fields opening for just 10 days is that when you do visit you can be assured the colourful confetti flower fields are in bloom and are looking their absolute best!
As you would expect the best time to visit the Real Flower Confetti Field is on weekdays as the flower fields are much busier on weekends with tourists flocking to the Cotswolds.
That said, I visited on the first Saturday of the confetti fields opening and the Real Flower Confetti Field (like many other companies) have time-slotted tickets available to purchase online only, which meant people visiting on the weekend probably had just as much space to roam around and enjoy the fields as freely as you would visiting the flower fields during the week.
As with most places, visiting first thing in the morning during the first time slot or visiting at the end of day are generally the best times to capture photos of the confetti fields without as many people in the background.

I’m not a morning person so it was always going to be the last time slot of the day for me and it was ideal as many people were leaving so it gave me ample opportunity to capture my own pictures of the flower fields.
In terms of the Great British weather, be sure to check the Real Flower Confetti Field Facebook page to check the field is open during days when the weather isn’t playing ball.
Confetti Flower Fields Opening Times
The Confetti Flower Fields 2024 opening times are as follows:
Open to the public for 10 days only from 30th June until Sunday 9th July 2024.
The confetti fields are open between 10am and 3.50pm and the tickets operate on a 50 minute arrival time slot with a 2 hour limit for time spent in the fields. Therefore if you arrive at 3pm, you will need to leave at 5pm.
Where are the Cotswolds Flower Confetti Fields?
The Real Flower Confetti Fields are located in the village of Wick on the Wyke Manor Estate Pershore, Worcestershire WR10 3PA.
The origin of the Confetti Fields on the Wyke Manor Estate began as a “eureka” moment after Charles Hudson, dismayed at the mess left from the paper confetti on the church grounds, saw some petals fall from a bouquet he was carrying for his wife on his way home.
After some deliberation experimenting with a variety of flowers using natural processes of sunshine and fresh air to dry the flowers, Charles chose delphiniums and cornflowers for the confetti petals.
Soon the demand for real natural biodegradable confetti grew and new flowers were added to the range. The Wyke Manor Estate confetti fields bloom every summer with the best blooms handpicked for weddings worldwide.
How to get to The Real Flower Confetti Field
I was surprised at just how easy the Confetti Fields in Wick are to visit by car, particularly as driving in the Cotswolds can be challenging to say the least!
The only one-track road we had to drive was the one up to the flower field and we were ushered into the drive by a very charming gentleman who used his hat to guide our route.
It’s worth noting that using Google Maps was a little tricky for directions as the address brought up the Real Flower Petal Company website rather than directions, therefore we found it easier putting “Wick” into the sat nav. Upon approaching Wick, there are sign post directing the way to the Confetti Flower Fields.
It took us 1 hour and 40 mins approximately to drive from Milton Keynes (taking the M1, M45 and A46).
London to the Cotswolds Confetti Fields takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes by car, you can simply take the M40 straight there.
How to visit the Cotswold Confetti Fields by Train from London
The nearest railway station to the Confetti Fields is Pershore train station, which is on the main Great Western London line.
It’s worth noting that it isn’t possible to walk to the Confetti Fields and taxis do not wait at the train station, therefore you will need to book a taxi in advance.
Taxi companies to try include:
A1 Travel – 01386 556972
Evesham Taxis – 01386 421918
Richmond Taxis – 01386 710335
How Much Does it Cost to Visit The Real Flower Confetti Fields?
Each confetti field ticket costs £7.50 each and you do not need to buy a ticket for children aged under 5 years old.
Parking is free of charge and is right next to the confetti fields.
The Confetti Cafe sells a range of cakes and drinks to enjoy during your visit. Though, if you’re visiting during the last time slot of the day be sure to head there first as it was closed prior to us leaving the flower field. It’s worth noting, the Confetti Cafe closes at 4.30pm.

You can choose from a range of dried flower confetti bags to buy, from delphinium, wildflower and hydrangea petals all in assorted colours.
I purchased some delphinium flower seeds for £4 during my visit and can only hope mine bloom as beautifully as the ones in the confetti fields.
It’s also possible to buy some blooms to take home with you for £10 (and I’m already regretting not buying some during my visit!)
Don’t miss the Wild Flower Fields
As you drive out of the Confetti Fields car park, don’t forget to see the wildflowers!
I adore colourful wildflower fields and wish I had a bigger garden so that I could grow my own meadow.

On the drive along the track up to the confetti fields, I spotted fields of wildflowers in bloom and knew that I had to see them up close before leaving the confetti fields.
The benefit of visiting the confetti fields at the end of the day is that you aren’t holding up any other vehicles and can simply pull over to admire the wildflower fields as you are leaving the confetti fields.

When it comes to weddings, throwing confetti over the happy couple traditionally brings the couple luck. Whilst you may be so lucky to be able to get tickets to the Confetti Fields, I can assure you it is a day well spent.
